This lovely newly built modern home has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen has interesting patterned granite counters with a finely tiled bathroom. The nearby town of Tierras Morenas is a little mountain village of 1000 population plus the larger shopping and services town of Tilaran (the Municipality for the lake area) has a 25,000 population with a friendly, compatible atmosphere for all who live here. It is only a 15 minute drive. There are friendly relations here between both Costa Ricans “Ticos” and Foreigners “Gringos”. There are many available activities to have a healthy lifestyle with easily made new friends in this very beautiful, lush, green year round Lake Arenal community.
There is very good grocery shopping available. Fish trucks come up from the Pacific Ocean selling fresh fish from that day’s catch so we have good choices. Most animals are grass fed if you buy local products so people are healthier here especially since they don’t eat processed food as much as we do in the States.
Tierras Morenas is only a one hour drive to the busy tourist town of La Fortuna with it’s many activities including the famous Hot Springs coming from Volcano Arenal.. your guests will appreciate this. It is the second most popular tourism choice for its Arenal Volcano National Park. Some great news is that this lovely home is only a short 1 1/2 hour drive to the capital city of our Guanacaste Province, Liberia, which now competes with San Jose for necessary purchases. The Liberia International Airport is conveniently located here so no need for a 4 hour drive to San Jose with its irritating traffic. Liberia is also only 1/2 hour from the beautiful Pacific Coast where you can choose between many Northern Nicoya Pacific Beaches for a day or weekend of sunshine ….and then still return to the cooler climate with its continuous breezes for comfort.
