This home is 1650 square feet and has 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. An advantage is that it is within walking range of the town of Arenal (Nuevo Arenal) and you can have all the services close to home, even without a car. It comes unfurnished with lots of room and has a detached garage. There are many very good restaurants in town where you can meet with friends and enjoy life. Arenal is very community oriented and people are friendly.
The much appreciated climate here is an average 70F year round meaning that you do not need a/c or heat. The nearby town of Nuevo Arenal is a little mountain village of 3000 people with a friendly, compatible atmosphere for all who live here. There are friendly relations here between both Costa Ricans “Ticos” and Foreigners “Gringos”. There are many available activities to have a healthy lifestyle with easily made new friends in this very beautiful, lush, green year round Lake Arenal community.
From Arenal it is only 1 ½ hours to the capital of our Guanacaste Province, Liberia, where there are services and shopping to rival San Jose. There is the Liberia International Airport here and if you drive another half hour you will be at the Pacific Ocean with its many beautiful beaches and resorts. From home you can go for the day or a few days to enjoy the change of climate. But you will always be happy to return to our wonderful cooler climate as if you live at the beaches, you spend lots of time in air conditioning which you don’t need in Arenal. Our year round climate is an average 70F. and it stays green year round. You will be surrounded with beautiful tropical flowers, orchids and trees in the surrounding forest which keep the air pure and clean.
