The entrance is just off Route 142 which curves around Lake Arenal with beautiful views and is only ½ hour west from the Municipality town of Tilaran that has a population 20,000 and availability of many more services and shopping. Then it is only another 1 ½ hours to Liberia, the Capital City of our Guanacaste Province where there is Liberia International Airport. In Liberia there are many of the stores and services you find in San Jose but 2 hours closer and without the traffic turmoil. From Liberia is it only another l/2 hour+ to the popular tourism Pacific beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula.
The climate in Arenal is 70F. Year round. We have abundant clean water, Fresh air from the surrounding protected forests, and fertile land for planing your own food if you wish. There is also an organic food store, vegetable stores and many grocery stores, plus excellent restaurants. Many activities are available here also.
