The capital of our Guanacaste Province is Liberia, less than 2 hours from Arenal on all paved roads. The scenery is spectacular, and protected environmentally. The second largest International Airport is in Liberia and branches of popular stores for shopping and medical specialists. There is no more need to drive 4 hours to the heavy traffic in the bustling major city of San Jose since we have almost everything we need here in the northwest. From the airport it is only another 20 minutes to the Pacific Ocean and many of the beautiful popular beaches of the Nicola Peninsula.
Living in Arenal is a blessing with its springlike climate of 65F. to 85F. degree temperature year round which keeps it green year round unlike the dry Pacific Climate.
