It is truly Pura Vida since it is easy to make friends and have a stress-free life with pure fresh air, clean abundant water, and with soil and climate perfect for growing food. The temperature is a mild 70F. average year round so stays green unlike the dry Pacific zone. No need for a/c or heat which saves lots of money and is healthier.

Arenal is only a short 1 1/2 hour drive to the Capital city of our Guanacaste Province, Liberia, where there is an International Airport, major shopping and then another 20 minutes to the Pacific Ocean beaches making it easy to go overnight or a weekend to the beach of your choice. A good idea is to share a beach house rental where each can have partial months to save money for enjoying mini vacations or take visiting friends and family to a totally different atmosphere. Arenal is also only 45 minutes from the tourism town of La Fortuna, and 2 hours from the popular Monteverde Park. Relatives and friends will love their visits.

Our friends all feel very lucky to live here as overall to us it is the most beautiful and healthiest part of Costa Rica where we have what is limited in the rest of the world: good clean air from the surrounding protected forests, abundant fresh water, and land that is fertile, and you can grow food on.
