The entrance is from Route 142, our main lake road, only 3 km. west of the friendly 4,000 population town of Nuevo Arenal (see our map and GPS) of mixed foreigners and Ticos and with many necessary amenities. The capital of our Guanacaste province is Liberia, less than two hours from Arenal on all paved roads. The scenery is spectacular and protected environmentally. The second largest International Airport. There is no need to drive four hours to the crowded capital city of San Jose since we have almost everything you will need right here in the northwest. From the airport it is only another twenty minutes to the Pacific Ocean and many of the popular beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula.
