There are good restaurants in the area which cater to Gringos and/or Ticos. Fish trucks come up from the Pacific Ocean selling fresh fish from that day’s catch so we have good choices. The Liberia International Airport is conveniently located here so no need for a 4 hour drive to San Jose with its irritating traffic.
