There are many activities to keep you busy which you can choose from…it’s not much different from home except no malls or MacDonalds here. You will find it is easy to make friends here and join in activities. This is a lovely environmental area surrounded by forests with trees, flowers, orchids.
Like in Hawaii, tropical birds and toucans everywhere and some monkeys in the forest hooting at you, It has heavenly pure air to breathe, and abundant clean water piped into your home from tie artesian wells. The capital of our Guanacaste Province is Liberia where all services are in abundance including PriceSmart, Walmart, etc and branches of services from San Jose so no need for the tedious 4 hour drive to San Jose any more. Liberia is only 1 ½ hour from Aguacate in all paved roads. Liberia has an international airport and the Pacific beaches are only a short drive from there if you wish to go overnight for a relaxing change. If you drive in the other direction from Aguacate you can take a scenic drive around the lake to La Fortuna, then second most tourism town in Costa Rica with its Arenal Volcano, Hanging Bridges, hot springs to soak in for its mineral benefits, and many interesting tours. Your guests will love visiting you.
